Product Characteristics

• The outdoor expansive fire-resistant coating for steel structure developed by our company is an excellent material for fire protection of outdoor steel structures. 
• The coat is composed of the fire-resistant coating primer and waterproof weather-proof finishing coat. 
• Its technical performance is superior to requirements for WCB type in GB14907-2018 standard. It is characterized by thin coating thickness and fast drying. 
• It is easy to operate. Brushing, spraying and roller painting are available. It can resist corrosion and aging excellently. Featuring excellent fire-resistant performance, this product can be widely applied to fire protection of steel structures such as industrial workshops, stadiums, terminal buildings, TV towers, metallurgy, electrical equipment, chemical engineering, etc. 

Product information

Basic Compositions ：

The base material is vinyl acetate-ethylene copolymer emulsion. The fire retardant consists of polyphosphoric acid, melamine/pentaerythritol, pigment and filler as well as water.

Base treatment and construction method：

1. Before use, the dust, oil stains and rust on the surface of objects to be coated should be cleaned up, and anti-rust treatment should be applied to metal structural members. 
2. The coating should be completely stirred. If it is too thick, dedicated thinner  can be added for dilution. 
3. Brushing, spraying and roller painting are applicable in construction. Brushing (spraying) should be performed once every other 4-8 h. The next time of brushing should be performed after the surface is  total dry.
4. The thickness of each coat ≤0.3 mm. 
5. Fire-resistant coating should be dried for 48 h after realizing the design thickness. Supporting finishing coat should be applied.

Storage and Transportation 

• It should be stored in dry, ventilated warehouse above 5℃, in case of direct exposure to sunlight. The shelf life is six months. 
• Anti-rain and anti-dampness measures should be taken for packing, storage and transportation.
