Product information

Basic Compositions ：

It is made from composite materials such as expanded vermiculite, high-strength binder, polypropylene fiber, heat-resistant material, thermal insulation material additive, etc. It does not contain volatile hazardous substances such as asbestos, formaldehyde, benzene, etc. 

Base treatment and construction method 

1. Base material treatment: before construction, the dust, oil stains and rust on the steel members should be cleaned up thoroughly, and then anti-rust primer should be brushed on the treated steel members. 
(1) When structural members whose breadth is smaller than 300 mm is applied with fire-resistant coating, construction can be directly performed. 
(2) When applying fire-resistant coating to structural members whose breadth is 300 mm-800 mm, fire-resistant coating construction should be performed after roughing treatment of base material. 
(3) When applying fire-resistant coating to structural members whose breadth is larger than 800 mm, the fire-resistant coat should be provided with a mesh. 
2. Fire-resistant coating construction: artificial coating with a trowel or mechanical spraying is applicable. 
(1) Coating proportion: powder:binder:water = 3:1:0.8-1.2 

(2) Coating mixing: add weighed powder, binder and water into the blender, and then fully mix for 5-8 min for use. 
(3) Spraying construction: in the case of spraying, the spraying gun should be vertical to the surface of steel members to be sprayed, the distance should be 40-60 cm, the spraying pressure should be 0.4-0.6 Mpa, the thickness of tthe first layer should be 4-5 mm, and the thickness of each subsequent layer should be 6-8 mm, until the required thickness is realized. The second layer should not be sprayed before the first layer surface is dry. 
(4) Brushing construction: The stirred paint is applied manually, and the thickness of each coating is less than 10mm.

Storage and Transportation 

• It should be stored in dry, ventilated warehouse above 5℃, in case of direct exposure to sunlight. The shelf life is six months. 
• Anti-rain and anti-dampness measures should be taken for packing, storage and transportation.
