Product Characteristics

• Fire-resistant coating for fire dike is a product developed by our company to be applied onto the inside of industrial and civil buildings and onto the concrete surface of highways and railways (including metros). In the case of fire, a fire-resistant and thermal insulating layer can be formed to improve the fire resistance limit of structures. This product is non-toxic, odorless and contains no hazardous substances, and its fire resistance performance is extraordinary. It is an environment-friendly and fire-resistant coating.

Product information

Basic Compositions ：

It is made from composite materials such as expanded vermiculite, high-strength binder, polypropylene fiber, heat-resistant material, thermal insulation material additive, etc. It does not contain volatile hazardous substances such as asbestos, formaldehyde, benzene, etc. 

Base treatment and construction method 

1. Before construction, dust and dirt on the concrete surface should be removed. If the concrete surface is too smooth, roughing can be performed on its surface. 
2. Base layer construction proportion: coating powder:supporting binder = 2:1. Accurately weigh powder, binder and appropriate amount of water, add them, mix them with a blender for over 10 min (the stirring time should be guaranteed, and the coating should be used up immediately after mixing), until it becomes thick slurry, spray with dead-weight spraying gun to make the coat thickness realize 2-3 mm and form a rough surface before layered construction. 
3. Layered construction should be performed after the base layer is basically dry (70%-80% dry). 

• Proportion: coating powder:binder = 4:1, accurately weigh powder, binder and appropriate amount of water, add them, mix with the blender for over 10 min to make it become thick slurry; 
• Spraying should be performed with a coating machine, and the thickness of each time of spraying should be 3-6 mm; 
• The second time of spraying should be performed after the first time of coating istouch dry. Spraying is performed in this way, until the designed thickness is realized. The last time of spraying should not be too thick, and the coating should be compacted and smoothened. 

4. Surface decoration: Such as the use of spray construction coating appearance for a uniform granular surface, both sound absorption function, generally not smooth. When smoothing is necessary, it should be done after the last spraying. When surface decoration is required, other decorative coatings can be brushed on the surface of the fireproof coating.

Storage and Transportation 

• The product should be stored in a dry, ventilated warehouse at the temperature above 5℃, in case of direct exposure to sunlight. 
• The shelf life should be six months. Anti-rain and anti-dampness measures should be taken for packaging and transportation.
